Gameworld Ingredient #1: Radically Acknowledging the Now.

Carrying the possibility of what has not yet emerged.

It’s already been a year since the first official public meeting of Ontree. At t time, we invited people to come and share their gold after we presented our  vision. But before that, Ontree spent another year quietly incubating in a small  space— a three cell.

It’s been a rich journey, and there is one key ingredient in Gameworld Building I  want to share with you I have learned to appreciate it through my hobby of gardening. As a gardener, I find countless metaphors between soil, worms, a greens that apply to gameworld building too.

Experiment:

Sow a seed of a plant. Take care of the plant until it is at least 3 months old. Write down and share with us what you notice is necessary in you to care for the plant.

I can want to plant tomatoes in the middle of winter as much as I like, but no  matter how hard I wish, it won’t happen. The time simply is not right. Sure, I might  get lucky if a few warm days come along, but even then, the plants won’t survive  the cold. However, when spring arrives and I finally plant the seeds in the righ season, no amount of urgency or impatience will make them grow faster either.  This is where patience comes in. I am not talking about waiting for things to  happen, but about holding space for what is becoming, what is invisible still— without rushing it, even if we can’t see it yet. The difference is subtle but  significant: We discovered that when we wait, we fall into a passive absence,  fantastic moment for Gremlin to take over with impatience, become resentful,  judgmental or falling asleep, getting lazy and numb; but when we hold space, we  are actively present, nurturing possibility and guarding a specific purpose As human beings we have the capacity to choose struggling with not having  things when we want them, especially when it feels like they should be available to us right now. We can be tempted to create artificial conditions to force growth We might even demand that others meet our expectations, or build systems that  are disconnected from the natural rhythms of life, so that what we want,  manifests. This is how is possible to have tomatoes available anywhere in the  world, also in the middle of winter. Or even we have the ability to pretend what it is, it is not and build fantasy worlds completely disconnected from reality.  Sometimes, not having what we want is the most potent opportunity for  evolution.

It is like the journey of Ontree itself. We might not be where we want to be yet,  and by holding space for the process, we can trust that what is meant to grow will  eventually emerge, in its own time. What are the conditions for a gameworld to  start growing? The first ingredient is to radically and honestly acknowledge th now. No matter how uncomfortable it is and no matter what others want us to do.  We experience many of us getting inspired by many ideas of people who are  bringing possibilities from outside of the team. Make interviews! Write articles!  Have a presence in all the social media platforms! Write a book! Make an online  course! Be bold! Etc. Life showed that enthusiasms is not enough force to carry  the commitment of letting things happen. The people who said “yes, I will do  that!” They simply did not do it. It did not came from them. It did not grow from  inside. The seed did not have the environment to grow. It was the excitement of  what it could happen if.

The more we focus on time—past and future—the more we miss the Now. Creation,  transformation and expansion happens only in the now. How do we react in this  moment? What are we creating right now? What are the skills, knacks, and  capacities we have right now? What is our financial situation right now? What i your heart turned on by right now?

Collecting the information out of the now gives us the coordinates to find ou cross on the map and we can be in touch with reality. With the cross on the map  we can start moving towards conscious creation. When we move we create  results. And results never lie. It has been important for us to acknowledge what  we create even though we all know there can be more. Letting Ontree unfold  from the joy if creation has been a big learning. Everyone of us does what they  want to do. It is a radical commitment of moving with the speed of the heart, what  turns our heart on gives us the compass. We have learned -and for sure are still  learning- to distinguish between the wanting of other people and our own wants.  Not always easy to navigate internally and definitely worth the practice! Imagine what would be the Gameworld where you live if everyone just does that, what  they really want to do. Modern culture has not trained us to easily know what we  want. This requires exercise. Experiment. The capacity to find the purpose of th actions and to change your mind about something you thought you wanted.

Relating to the Now opens up the energetic realm of eternity—the eternal possibility of possibility. We live in a responsible universe: We have what we want and we want what we  have. Let this sentence digest you.We are going through the processes that will open up our pipes for Ontree to receive more energy. Healing and up-skilling ourselves to become bigger, bolder in our care for Gaia, growing to the next level… and the next level. One step at the time. There are so many layers of emotional healing processes, a variety of experiments and practices to peel away the conditioning of the “imposter syndrome” that many Human Beings have got as a souvenir from patriarchy and it seems to be a particularly sticky one.

We thank you so much for your words of encouragement and all the fantastic possibilities you have shared with us. We appreciate all the options you have brought, even if they are out of the now. All your questions have moved us and our soil is fertile, and your seeds will grow when we have created the right time for them to flourish.
